Standby generators and EV chargers
Lake-effect storms take the power out on the shoreline more often than anyone likes, and a standby generator keeps the heat, the pump, and the fridge running through it. We size and install generators and EV chargers for homes and cottages, tied into the panel and the transfer switch the right way.
A standby generator is sized to what actually has to stay on during an outage, not to a one-size-fits-all number. We install the unit, the transfer switch, and the connection so it comes on cleanly and safely, and we walk through how it runs before we leave.
On the EV side we install Level 2 chargers sized to the vehicle and the panel, including the panel and service work that a lot of older homes need before a charger can go in. If the panel needs an upgrade first, that is the same shop, not a second contractor.
- Standby generator sizing and installation
- Automatic and manual transfer switches
- Level 2 EV charger installation
- Panel and service work to support the new load
- Permit and inspection arranged
